Can I make more than one call at a time using your service?

No! you can only make one call at a time on your SimpleTalk account, no matter how many telephone numbers you have registered in your account.

 
Can I Save money by setting up a Direct Debit?

Yes, you get a 3% discount on package prices If you would like to setup a recurring payment via Direct Debit. However as we are a UK based business this can only be setup on a UK bank account at the moment.

 
Can I use the service on my mobile phone?

Yes!, Providing you have registered you mobile telephone number on your account you can use your mobile make calls using your current calling package on your account.

To use the service from your mobile simply dial 96 11 96 070, and at the dial tone tap in the number you would like to call. (do not push the send key again) However your mobile operator will change you for calling the 96 number if you do not have included minutes in your tariff to call Spanish landlines, or you are on PAYG.

 
Can I use your service on an Internet phone?

Yes, there are two ways this can be done. The first is to call the 96 11 96 070 access number, if your current provider offers free calls to Spanish telephone numbers then this will not incur a cost to call the number.

The second way would to reprogram your internet phone to our service, this would also offer lower monthly package cost as well.
If your current provider refuses to give you access to your internet phone we offer a range of handsets that we can send programmed directly to you. Cost start from 40€

 
Can I user your service for business?

No! The service is for the solely for the use of Residential customers. If we suspect the service is being used for business we will terminate the account without notification.

 
Do I have to use dial 1074 access code every time I make a call?

Yes, but only if you would like to make the call through our service, if not just dial as normal. We also offer an auto dialer that will automatically dial the 1074 code for you, so you will have to remember to do this each time. These are free of charge to customers that pay two months in advance. Please contact customer service for more information.

 
Do you have a Fair Usage Policy (FUP)

Yes, The team at Simple Telecoms want all of our customers to get the best service at the lowest possible price. So we have a clear Fair Usage Policy ("FUP") that is designed to prevent fraud and abuse of our service/s by a small number of users.

Other things may be relevant in determining what is "Legitimate Use" and Simple Telecoms reserves the right to take any unlawful, prohibited, abnormal or unusual activity into account in making its determination. We may terminate our relationship with you, or may suspend your subscription / account immediately if we determine you are using your subscription contrary to this "FUP" or our Terms of Use. Where reasonable, we will provide you with notice of improper usage before suspension or termination of your subscription and, if appropriate, may offer you an alternative service..

Accounts will be automatically closed if we see unusual calling patterns inconsistent with normal, individual subscription use, for example, regular calls of short duration or calls to multiple numbers in a short period of time or if we suspect the service is being used for Business, telemarketing or call centre operations, your account will be closed. The service cannot be shared between users whether via a PBX, call centre, computer or any other means. We reserve the right to alter, amend or vary the destinations available under this offer.

We cannot be held responsible for any bills or costs that you incur with your current telephone network provider if you do not dial 1074 before making your call.

 
How do I make calls using your service?

First of all you will need to register your home telephone number with us, you can do this online here We do not need any bank or payment information.

You will instantly receive an email with confirmation that your account is live, it will also have your login details for your SimpleTalk online account, plus €1 of FREE credit to test the service to make sure you’re happy with the service before adding any money to your account.

The1074 access code will only work from authorised Landline telephone numbers. This code is free to call, and will not show on your telephone bill. This will take up to 36 hours to go live on your home telephone line. You will revive an email and text message informing your when live.

If you wish to start making calls right away you can dial 96 11 96 070, however your telephone provider will charge you for the call. We cannot be held responsible for any bills or costs that you incur with your current telephone network provider.

 
How do I pay for your service?

Choose your calling package - Monthly Subscription
With our great range of calling packages it’s really easy to customise your Simple Telecoms calling account for even more flexibility and value. Just choose the package that suits you best, click on the Subscribe button for the package, and we will let you know as soon as its live on your account.

Choose your calling package - PAYG
You can also add a PAYG package as a once off, simply log in to your online account and top up by the package amount. This will then automatically activate the selected SimpleTalk package on your account for one calendar month. If you wish to continue to use the call package simply top up again with at the end of the 30 days,

Simple PAYG
You can pay for your call by adding credit to your online account using PayPal/Credit card; this will then bill your calls at our standard rates.

You can cancel your monthly recurring payment service at anytime, you are not in a contract or committing to use or pay for the service every month. Just click the Unsubscribe button on the main page to stop your monthly payments.

 
What counts as daytime, evening, and weekend?

Your monthly SimpleTalk plan will include calls to UK landlines at certain times of day. We define these times as: Evening is 7pm - 7am, Monday to Friday (GMT). Weekend is all day Saturday and Sunday (midnight Friday - midnight Sunday, GMT)

 
What included landline numbers can I call?

You can make unlimited UK calls to landlines starting 01, 02, 03, including calls to UK freephone numbers starting 0800,0808, as wel as 0845 and 0870 numbers. Included Spanish calls are to standard lines starting 9 and 8 numbers. Spanish numbers starting 900,902,901,800,5, 80,90 are not included.

International inclusive Landline calls to our Top 24 Countries do not include calls to mobiles, unless marked with **

What included mobile numbers can I call?

You can make unlimited calls to both UK and Spanish mobile phone. However all Mobile Inclusive calls are limited for 30 minutes. Customers should hang up before 30 minutes and redial to avoid incurring charges.

Your call will automatically disconnect if there is insufficient funds on your account to continue the call passed the 30 minute timer.
