Why choose Home2Phone?
A simple 4G home phone service designed for people who want a familiar home number without a traditional copper line or broadband-based VoIP.
Keep your home number
Family, friends, doctors, hospitals and other important contacts can continue calling the number they already know.
No broadband required
Home2Phone works without broadband, apps or internet-based VoIP calling, making it simpler for many customers.
Not a call divert
Your home number is transferred to the service rather than simply diverted to another phone number.
Uses the EE voice network
The service uses a dedicated EE SIM and the EE mobile voice network for calls.
Useful during short power cuts
The router option includes a built-in backup battery, and compatible handset options can help during short power interruptions.
Nuisance call blocking included
Home2Phone includes nuisance call blocking to help reduce unwanted calls.
Why keeping your home number matters
Many people have had the same landline number for years. Keeping it can make the move away from a copper landline feel less disruptive.
No need to update everyone
Friends, family, care providers, doctors and services can continue using your existing number.
Familiar and reassuring
A familiar home number can be especially important for elderly customers and families supporting a loved one.
Good for care situations
Keeping the same number can help in care homes, supported living and other situations where continuity matters.
A simple landline replacement without broadband
Home2Phone is designed for people who still want a familiar home phone experience but no longer want, or cannot use, a traditional copper landline.
Because it works using a dedicated 4G SIM rather than through broadband or app-based calling, it can be a simpler alternative to many internet phone services.
Answers to common questions about keeping your home number with Home2Phone.
Is Home2Phone a call-divert service?
No. Home2Phone is a 4G home phone replacement, not a simple call-divert service.
Can I keep my existing home phone number?
Yes. One of the main benefits is that your existing home phone number can often be transferred onto the Home2Phone service.
Do I need broadband or VoIP?
No. Home2Phone is designed to work without broadband, apps or internet-based VoIP calling.
Which network does Home2Phone use?
Home2Phone uses a dedicated EE SIM and the EE mobile voice network.
What are the Home2Phone options?
You can choose a router package or a GSM phone package. Both are designed to keep your existing home number on a dedicated EE SIM.
Can my home number show when I make outgoing calls?
Yes. Even though Home2Phone uses mobile network technology, your home telephone number can still be shown on outgoing calls.

Data plans renew monthly on the same date they were first activated. For example, if activated on the 15th, the plan will renew on the 15th of each month. Once your data allowance is used, the service will pause until the next billing cycle unless an out-of-bundle data top-up is purchased. You will receive an email alert when 90% of your allowance has been used. Data allowances are valid in the UK and include up to 25% roaming usage in EU Zone 1. Simple 4G home phone setup
A great option for customers already using Simple Telecoms who want an easy
landline replacement service with low monthly rental.
A simple and reliable Home2Phone 4G home phone package with the
Geemarc Liberty cordless handset and Geemarc CL2000 4G router.
Designed for customers who want an easy-to-use landline replacement without a traditional phone line.
The Geemarc Liberty cordless handset and Geemarc CL2000 4G router package
offers a simple and reliable home phone solution for people who want an easy-to-use
4G home telephone service without needing a traditional landline installation.
A major benefit of this package is that the Geemarc Liberty handset works directly with the
Geemarc CL2000 4G router. This means there is no need for a separate base station or master handset
to be kept next to the router.
The router can be placed where the mobile signal is strongest, while the cordless handset can
be used more conveniently elsewhere in the room or around the home. This makes it a practical choice for
bedrooms, accessible living spaces, and homes where flexibility matters.
The Geemarc Liberty cordless handset is designed for ease of use, with large buttons,
clear sound, louder audio, and a simple menu system. This makes it especially suitable for older people,
households wanting an easier phone, and anyone looking for a more accessible home telephone.
The Geemarc CL2000 4G router uses the EE 4G mobile network to replace a traditional home
phone line. It offers a simple plug-and-play setup with no broadband required, while still
allowing you to keep your existing home phone number in many cases.
If needed, mobile broadband can be added later. Please note that the 4G router is supplied
as part of this package and is not sold separately.
Please note: this is a SIM-based home phone service and is not suitable for monitored care
alarms or any other life-critical monitoring equipment.

We are asked this a lot. The upfront cost is not an Openreach connection charge.
It is a Home2Phone activation cost that helps cover the setup of your service,
equipment preparation, administration, and getting your package ready for use.
Many providers recover setup costs by locking customers into long contracts of 12, 18 or 24 months.
That often means you continue paying those costs over a long period, and in some cases you may still
face extra charges if you want to cancel or move your service.
We do things differently. Instead, we charge a clear upfront activation fee.
This keeps pricing straightforward and transparent, while helping us offer the service on a
simple 30-day rolling contract rather than a lengthy minimum term.
Because Home2Phone is provided on a 30-day rolling contract, the service can be
stopped if needed without being tied into a long agreement. We believe this is a simpler and fairer
way to provide a home phone service, especially when circumstances can change.
Pension Credit Information
Home2Phone Pension Credit Tariff FAQs
Find answers to common questions about the Home2Phone Pension Credit tariff, including eligibility,
mobile signal, call plans, cancellations, and important information about care alarms and monitored devices.
Care alarms and monitored devices
Important information: Home2Phone is a mobile-based home phone service that works through a 4G router or a GSM handset.
It is not suitable or recommended for use with a care alarm, monitored medical device, or any other life-critical
monitoring equipment.
If your care alarm works independently and does not need a telephone line, Home2Phone can still be used safely.
Who can apply for the Pension Credit tariff?
You may be eligible for the Home2Phone social tariff if you receive Pension Credit or
Guarantee Credit. We do not currently offer this social tariff for other benefits.
To confirm eligibility, we will ask for proof that you receive Pension Credit or Guarantee Credit, together with your
National Insurance number. The contract and Direct Debit must be in the end user’s name and at the installation address.
Payment is available by Direct Debit only.
If you are already a Simple Telecoms customer and have recently started receiving Pension Credit,
we can move you to this tariff free of charge.
Data and internet access
Please note: Pension Credit call plans are available only with the Basic telephone package.
If you need mobile data or internet access, you will need to choose a different Home2Phone plan that includes data.
What happens after 12 months?
Twelve months after activation, we will ask you to send updated proof that you still receive Pension Credit.
If you remain eligible and want to continue on the Pension Credit tariff, the plan can continue for a further 12 months.
Please note that there may be a small adjustment to the monthly rental after this period to reflect market conditions.
Cancelling the tariff
The Pension Credit tariff is on a 30-day rolling contract, so you can cancel at any time without early exit fees.
If you cancel, we will ask you to return the router within 30 days to avoid a charge. If you are transferring your telephone number
to another provider, your new provider will manage the transfer.
If a number has previously been ported out of Simple Telecoms’ Home2Phone service, it will not qualify for a free port back for
36 months from the original port-out date. A charge will apply if you want to bring the number back within that 36-month period.
Your telephone number must stay active and fully paid until the transfer is complete.
Check your EE mobile signal
We recommend checking your EE mobile coverage before ordering. Home2Phone works only on the EE mobile network.
Although the service allows you to connect a standard telephone handset to a 4G router, or use a GSM phone, it remains a
mobile-based home phone solution rather than a like-for-like fixed digital landline. Performance depends on signal strength,
local coverage, environmental conditions, and network congestion, so call quality may vary and dropped calls can occur.
EE controls the mobile network and coverage, which is outside our control.
We do not recommend relying on this service for a care alarm. If your care alarm needs a telephone line, we recommend using a
fixed digital line. If the care alarm is independent and does not require a telephone line, the Home2Phone service can be used safely.
Fixed line rental for 12 months ΨΨ
No line rental increases for 12 months - Pension Credit tariff
From your activation date, the line rental price stays fixed for 12 months. This does not include charges for data usage
or out-of-bundle services.
After the initial 12-month period, the monthly price of services may increase each year on 1 April by the rate of inflation plus 3.9%.
If your call plan changes during the 12-month period, the original 12-month timeframe continues and does not reset.
Home2Phone Call Plans, Service Information and Important Terms
Read important information about the Home2Phone service, including care alarm guidance, EE mobile coverage, UK call plans, voicemail, handset options, data allowances, number porting, emergency calls and international call barring.
Important notice: Home2Phone is a mobile-based phone service that works through a 4G router or GSM handset.
Because of this, it may not be suitable for monitored alarm systems and is used at your own risk.
This service is not suitable for monitored medical or life-critical systems. If your care alarm is independent and does not rely on a telephone line, Home2Phone may still be suitable.
Home2Phone operates only over the EE mobile network. Although the service allows you to connect a standard telephone handset to a 4G router or use a GSM phone, it remains a mobile-based solution.
It is therefore not a like-for-like replacement for a fixed digital landline, which means existing copper phone extensions will not work.
Performance depends on mobile network conditions, including signal strength, local coverage, environmental interference and network congestion. Because of this, users may experience call quality issues, intermittent service or dropped calls, which are common limitations of mobile services.
Mobile coverage and performance are controlled entirely by EE and are outside our control. We do not recommend relying on this service for a care alarm.
Unlike many services that connect a landline number to a mobile SIM using simple call forwarding, Home2Phone is not a call divert service.
Instead, we provide a SIM card that holds your actual home phone number. This means that when you make calls, your home number can be displayed instead of a mobile number.
The service is not VoIP, so it does not rely on broadband data, an app or a smartphone.
This plan includes unlimited calls to UK standard landlines starting 01, 02 and 03.
It also includes unlimited calls to standard UK mobile networks in charge bands O2, Orange, T-Mobile, Vodafone, H3, EE, Three and other providers in charge bands FM1, FM3, FM4, FM5 and FM6, plus unlimited text messages.
After 120 continuous minutes to a UK landline number, the standard rate applies for the remainder of that call. To avoid additional charges, hang up before 120 minutes and redial.
After 120 continuous minutes on a UK mobile call, the standard mobile rate applies depending on the time of day. To avoid extra charges, hang up before 120 minutes and redial.
International destinations are currently restricted and require international call barring to be removed. All premium rate calls are blocked automatically. International call barring may be removed, but a deposit may be required. Premium rate barring cannot be removed.
Calls outside the bundle are charged according to the Simple Telecoms Home2Mobile rate card. Included calls and texts are subject to our Fair Use Policy. Calls to Lycamobile, Lebara and mobile virtual network operators that do not operate on the UK GSM cellular network are not treated as standard UK mobile numbers.

You will receive an email notification whenever a new voicemail message is received. If you do not use email, we recommend checking manually for messages.
Older analogue external answering machines can sometimes be connected, but we cannot guarantee compatibility with a digital line and cannot provide support for issues caused by their use.
Geemarc Liberty 200 amplified cordless home telephone with a small DECT base, loud ringer, hearing aid compatibility and an easy-to-use cordless handset that can be placed anywhere in the home.
Pricing note: add £10.00 to the advertised basic package price when choosing the X2 Geemarc Liberty handset. On the Request a Quote page, you can select a dual-handset package if required. Additional handsets and the 4G router are not sold separately.
Can be placed anywhere: the cordless handset comes with a small base unit, which is the only part that needs to be connected to the router. Once connected, the handset can be used anywhere in the home.
Hearing aid compatible: designed for users with hearing aids. Set compatible hearing aids to the “T” setting when using the phone.
Extra loud ringer: up to 75 dB for easier call alerts.
Volume boost control: five adjustable volume levels and a boost button allow the receiver volume to be increased by up to 30 dB.
VIP phonebook: store up to 60 numbers and allow calls only from selected numbers to help reduce nuisance and scam calls.
Speed dial keys: save important numbers to keys 1, 2 and 3. Press and hold for automatic dialling.
Large backlit display and large buttons: designed to improve readability and reduce misdialling for elderly users.
Some phone features may not be compatible with a mobile-based digital line.
If you add a mobile broadband plan, the highest possible data speed is a best-case estimate under ideal network conditions.
Because mobile networks vary by location, coverage and network conditions, exact speeds cannot be guaranteed. We therefore cannot promise that a specific speed will always be available.
Your chosen phone and broadband package comes with a monthly data allowance that must not be exceeded. We will send email notifications as you approach your limit, and if you go over it we may apply restrictions to your data service in line with our Acceptable Use Policy.
When you add a mobile data plan to your SIM card, the renewal date is always based on the date the plan was first activated.
For example, if your plan starts on the 15th of the month, it will renew on the 15th of every month. This helps keep your billing cycle consistent and easy to follow.
Once your data limit is reached, the data service will pause automatically until the next billing cycle begins. You will also receive an email alert when you reach 90% of your data allowance.
This pause cannot be bypassed unless you buy an out-of-bundle data top-up.
Your allowance is valid in the UK and includes up to 25% of the allowance for roaming in EU Zone 1. If you wish to remove a data plan, 30 days’ notice is required.
During setup, you will be given a standard mobile number for billing purposes.
Home2Phone accounts can hold more than one number, but only one can be set as the default outgoing Caller Line Identification (CLI).
Porting your existing home number is free across all packages, but only from providers with whom Simple Telecoms has a direct porting agreement. Non-geographic number porting is not currently available.
Number porting usually takes around 10 working days. Adding a new phone number to your Home2Phone service can normally be completed within 24 hours.
The Home2Phone service supports calls to 999 and 112 and is designed to comply with Ofcom regulations.
Emergency calls are carried over the EE mobile network, and operators may verify the caller’s address using the National Database. It is therefore the user’s responsibility to keep their address details up to date.
The CLI shown during an emergency call will be the default Home2Phone CLI on the account.
Please note: emergency access may not be available in all situations because the service depends on mobile network availability. This may include mobile outages, power failures, cell site faults or lack of coverage.
Emergency call handlers may also ask the caller to confirm their identity and exact location.
To protect customers, call barring for international numbers, premium rate numbers starting 09, directory enquiries starting 118, and some 08 numbers is applied automatically to Home2Phone lines.
Because some 08 numbers are classified by Ofcom as premium rate, you may still be unable to call certain 08 numbers. Premium rate call barring cannot be removed, but international call barring can be removed in some cases.
These affected 08 premium rate charge bands include SC011, SC013, SC014, SC047, SC075, SC092 and SC093.
Home2Phone Frequently Asked Questions
Find answers to common questions about the Home2Phone service, including 4G routers, SIM-only options, number transfers, installation, contracts, call barring and service reliability.
Unfortunately, we no longer sell the router on its own. This change was made because non-digital and incompatible handsets or answering machines often caused problems, leading customers to believe the router or service was faulty.
You are welcome to buy a Geemarc CL2000 handset from a third party. We can still provide the EE Home2Phone SIM card and arrange for your number to be moved to the service.
Please note that we cannot provide support for third-party routers, confirm handset or answering machine compatibility, or assist with call-related issues caused by using equipment other than a supported Geemarc model.
Yes. We are happy to provide the Home2Phone SIM card on its own, and it can be used in a compatible 4G base router of your choice.
Please note that we cannot support third-party routers or help with their setup.
We are asked this a lot. Many providers recover connection costs by tying customers into 12, 18 or 24-month contracts, sometimes with extra fees if the service is disconnected later.
We do things differently. We charge a clear upfront activation, connection or installation fee instead of hiding those costs inside a long contract.
This keeps the service simple and transparent, with no early termination charges and no hidden surprises.
Yes. The Geemarc Liberty cordless handset paired with the Geemarc CL2000 4G router provides a simple and flexible home phone setup.
The handset connects independently, so it does not need to stay close to the router. This means you can place the router where the mobile signal is strongest while using the handset elsewhere in your home or room.
The Home2Phone router is plug-and-play, so no engineer visit is required. The router is fully set up and tested before it is dispatched.
Once you receive it, simply connect your telephone handset, power up the router and you should be ready to use the service within minutes.
If you are transferring your existing telephone number to us, this can take around 10 to 20 working days. All routers come with an active mobile number that can be used in the meantime. This number is also used for billing purposes.
Anyone aged 18 or over can apply for the Home2Phone service, provided they pass the required security and credit checks.
Although the service is popular with pensioners and retired people, it is not limited to that group.
You can take the router to selected EU countries without incurring roaming charges, depending on the destination and your package.
For full details, please contact our customer service team on 0330 122 0000. Additional roaming charges may apply in some cases, and a deposit may be required.
Once you click the “Request a Free Quote” button and complete the online form, we will send you a full cost breakdown.
If you are happy with the quote, simply complete the Direct Debit form included in our email and we will handle the rest.
If you are getting a new number, the service usually takes about 48 hours to set up. Your router and SIM will be delivered by courier.
If you are transferring your existing home number, this usually takes around 10 to 20 working days. We will provide you with a mobile number until your home number has moved over.
Moving your home telephone number to the Home2Phone service is included in the setup and activation cost.
Please note that the number port depends on your current provider having a porting agreement in place and accepting our request. This will also affect how quickly the number can be moved.
Yes. The provider you are moving to will handle the transfer process.
Please note that customers who port their number out of the Home2Phone network will not be eligible for a free port back to the Simple Telecoms network until 36 months have passed from the original port-out date.
If you wish to move your number back within that 36-month period, a charge will apply.
To protect customers, call barring for international and premium rate numbers starting with 09, 118 and some 08 numbers is applied automatically to the Home2Phone line.
Because Ofcom classifies certain 08 numbers as premium rate, some 08 numbers may still be unavailable.
Premium rate barring cannot be removed. However, international call barring may be removed from Zone One in some cases without a deposit.
Affected premium rate charge bands include SC011, SC013, SC014, SC047, SC075, SC092 and SC093.
Home2Phone operates only over the EE mobile network. Although the service allows a Geemarc Liberty handset to be connected to a 4G router, it remains a mobile-based solution and is not a like-for-like replacement for a fixed digital landline.
Performance depends on mobile signal strength, local coverage, environmental interference and network congestion. Because of this, users may sometimes experience call quality issues, intermittent service or dropped calls.
Please note that we do not recommend relying on this service for a care alarm. If you have a care alarm, we recommend choosing a fixed digital line or an independent GSM-based solution instead.
Like most of our services, Home2Phone is provided on a 30-day rolling contract, with 30 days’ notice required for disconnection.
There is no disconnection charge to pay. Please note that you may lose your telephone number if you end the service without first moving your number to a new provider or service.
Using the Home2Phone 4G router means a power cut will not automatically affect the network side of the service.
However, any mains-powered equipment needed to make calls will require its own backup power source.
Important: we do not recommend relying on this service for use with a care alarm.
No. Although the service allows a digital telephone handset to be connected to a 4G router, it remains a mobile-based solution.
It is therefore not a like-for-like replacement for a fixed digital landline, which means existing copper phone extensions will not continue to work.
Mobile Data Usage Frequently Asked Questions
Find out how much mobile data common activities use, including Netflix, YouTube, video calls, smart speakers and everyday streaming on Home2Phone and mobile broadband services.
Streaming services such as Netflix, IPTV and other on-demand video platforms can use a large amount of mobile data, especially at higher picture quality settings.
According to Netflix guidance, watching a TV programme or film in standard definition typically uses around 1GB of data per hour, while HD streaming can use up to 3GB of data per hour.
You can reduce data usage by lowering the video quality setting in your streaming account. However, we do not recommend regular or continuous streaming on lower data plans.
How long 10GB of data lasts depends on what you are doing online and the quality settings you choose. The examples below are only estimates and actual usage may vary.
Watching Netflix: around 10 hours in standard definition, or around 3 hours in HD.
Watching YouTube: around 6 hours at 1080p, or around 3 hours in 4K.
Browsing social media: around 111 hours of scrolling, or about 64 hours with more active use.
Using Skype or FaceTime: about 37 hours on Skype or around 55 hours on FaceTime.
If you plan to stream videos, make regular video calls or use internet-connected devices throughout the day, we recommend choosing a 30GB data plan or higher for a better experience.
Like a mobile phone, the amount of data used by Alexa or Google Home depends on how often and how heavily the device is used.
If you mainly ask occasional questions, use voice commands or control smart home devices, data usage is usually quite low. Audio commands use far less data than video streaming.
If you continuously stream music, radio or other audio content, data usage will be higher. For example, streaming audio through Alexa typically uses up to 256Kbps, which is just over 100MB per hour.
That means you would need roughly 10 hours of music streaming and commands to use around 1GB of data.
Home2Phone Service Information, Billing and Important Terms
Find important information about the Home2Phone telephone service, including care alarm guidance, cooling-off rights, credit checks, monthly billing, payment methods, emergency service access, mobile coverage and fair usage limits.
The CL2000 router includes an internal battery backup that exceeds Ofcom’s requirement to maintain service for at least one hour during a power cut.
Please note that other mains-powered equipment, such as cordless handsets, telecare devices and care alarms, will not receive power from the router. These items will need their own battery backup or alternative power supply.
To help keep your phone service available during a power cut, we recommend keeping a corded telephone that can be plugged directly into the router.
Important: Home2Phone is a mobile-based telephone service that works through a 4G router. It may not be suitable for some monitored alarm systems. Any care alarm connected to the service is used at your own risk.
This service is not suitable for monitored medical or life-critical systems. If a care alarm is completely independent and does not require a telephone line, Home2Phone may still be suitable.
All new Home2Phone orders include a statutory 14-day cooling-off period starting from the date you agree to the service.
If you cancel within those 14 days, you will not be charged for the monthly service rental. However, any calls or other usage made during that period may still be billed.
If equipment has been supplied, it must be returned to us undamaged and in its original packaging.
Please note: activation and installation charges are non-refundable once the service has been set up.
In some cases, installation or activation may be brought forward. If this happens within the 14-day period, your cancellation rights may be affected.
If you are already a Simple Telecoms customer moving to Home2Phone, we would not normally carry out another credit check.
For new applications, we may perform a hard credit check on the service user and the address where the service will be provided. If the bill payer is different from the user, we may also credit check the bill payer.
We use Creditsafe to help verify identity and review credit history. Our credit-checking team then decides whether the application can be accepted.
A credit check is only carried out once a Direct Debit has been set up, as this is treated as acceptance of our terms and conditions and confirmation of your intention to apply for the service.
If your application is accepted, a credit limit may be placed on the account for chargeable calls. If that limit is reached, outgoing calls may be restricted except for 999, freephone numbers and NHS helplines.
We strongly recommend enabling call spend warnings in our online billing system.

No line rental increases for 24 months from the date of activation. This excludes the Pension Credit plan.
This fixed price applies to line rental only and does not include data usage or any out-of-bundle charges.
After the initial 24-month period, monthly service costs may increase annually by the rate of inflation plus 3.9%.
If your call plan changes during the 24-month period, the original timeframe continues. The 24-month guarantee does not restart.
You are charged rental from the day Simple Telecommunications Ltd supplies the Home2Phone service.
All chargeable services are billed in advance. Your first invoice usually includes the full month in which the invoice is issued, the following full calendar month, and any part-month charges from the date the service went live.
This advance payment also helps cover your 30-day cancellation notice period, allowing us to terminate the service on the same day you notify us if needed.
Services are provided subject to status and credit checks.
We only accept Direct Debit for monthly Home2Phone service payments.
Direct Debit payments are protected by the Direct Debit Guarantee and managed through an authorised payment institution.
Direct Debits can be set up through our website or by email. Paper Direct Debit mandates are not accepted.
A live Direct Debit must remain linked to your account at all times. If the Direct Debit is cancelled, we will contact you and ask for a new one to be set up before the service is suspended.
Please note that a suspended service will still retain access to emergency services.
Home2Phone is provided in accordance with Ofcom regulations and supports emergency calls to 999 and 112.
Emergency calls are routed to a national emergency call handling agent. The displayed caller line identity will reflect the default Home2Phone CLI on the account.
Operators may need to verify the caller’s address using the National Database, so it is the user’s responsibility to keep their address details up to date with us.
Because Home2Phone is a SIM-based mobile service, emergency access may not always be available during a mobile network outage, cell site fault, lack of coverage or if the account has been suspended.
Emergency call handlers may also ask the caller to confirm both their identity and exact location.
To help protect customers who may forget to hang up, the maximum call duration is set to 2 hours per call.
Each Home2Phone account is also limited to a maximum of 99 distinct dialled numbers.
Typical monthly fair usage limits include:
Up to 2,000 UK landline minutes
Up to 2,000 UK mobile minutes
Up to 2,000 roaming minutes
Up to 2,000 SMS messages
Calls to revenue-sharing or rebate-generating numbers are not permitted.
Home2Phone operates solely over the EE mobile network. Although a standard telephone handset can be connected to the 4G router, the service remains a mobile-based solution.
It is not a like-for-like replacement for a fixed digital landline. Performance depends on signal strength, local coverage, environmental interference and network congestion.
Because of this, users may sometimes experience call quality issues, intermittent service or dropped calls, which are common limitations of mobile services.
Mobile network performance, including coverage, is controlled entirely by EE and is outside our control.
We do not recommend relying on this service for a monitored care alarm.
To check coverage you will need to enter the coverage checker and enter the postcode location where you want the coverage information. Please leave the "Device" blank if you are using our Home2Phone router. Optionally, you can include the information on the mobile device being used. This will allow the coverage checker to display the data availability according to the technology that is compatible with your handset (i.e. it will tell you that you can’t get 5G coverage with an iPhone 6S).
Ψ The monthly line rental price for monthly services will rise in April each year by the rate of inflation plus 3.9%
✅ Mobile Coverage and Service limitations
Hom2Phone is a mobile-based telephone solution that uses the EE mobile network
Home2Phone operates solely over the EE mobile network. Although the service allows a standard telephone handset to be connected to a 4G router, or used in a GSM phone it remains a mobile-based solution and is not a like-for-like replacement for a fixed digital landline. Performance is dependent on mobile network conditions, including signal strength, local coverage, environmental interference, and network congestion. As a result, users may encounter call quality issues, intermittent service, or dropped calls, common limitations inherent to all mobile services. Mobile network performance, including coverage, is controlled entirely by EE and is outside of our control.
Please note - that we do not recommend relying on this service for a Care Alarm. Although we do have customers who use Care Alarms with this service, this is done entirely at your own risk.
For Care Alarm systems, we strongly recommend using a fixed digital line service, which is more suitable and reliable for this purpose. Please contact our team for more information on fixed digital lines.
