Choose from the Marbella corded phone, Maxcom MM39D, Geemarc CL9000 GSM desk phone, or Geemarc Liberty 200 cordless handset. The Liberty 200 is especially flexible because its DECT base station is separate from the handset charging cradle. This means the router can be placed where the EE mobile signal is strongest, while the handset stays in the most convenient place in the home.

Your SIM, router or GSM handset package is fully configured, prepared and tested before dispatch, so it is ready to use when it arrives. If you are transferring an existing home or mobile number, we will confirm the transfer date. If you request a new number, we will provide it before dispatch.

How FirstCall works
When someone calls, FirstCall asks the caller to state their name before the call is put through. You then hear who is calling and can choose whether to accept the call. This gives an extra layer of protection against nuisance and scam calls while keeping the process simple.
Whitelisted numbers
The Whitelist is for family, friends, neighbours, carers and other trusted callers. When someone calls from a number on your Whitelist, they are connected straight through without having to go through the screening process.
Blacklisted numbers
The Blacklist is for numbers you do not want to hear from again. If a blacklisted number calls, the caller hears a message advising they are not authorised to contact you, and the call is ended automatically. Your telephone will not ring.
Secure PIN override for trusted organisations
FirstCall includes a secure PIN Override feature for trusted organisations such as hospitals, GP surgeries, district nurses and healthcare professionals who may call from withheld numbers or from many different departments. A trusted caller can enter the PIN followed by the # key during the welcome message to be connected without recording their name.
For security reasons, the PIN Override feature is not mentioned in the FirstCall welcome message or call prompts. This helps prevent unauthorised callers from discovering the feature or trying random PIN codes.

The Maxcom MM39D and Geemarc CL9000 GSM desk phones are designed for anyone who wants a simple home telephone without needing a traditional copper landline or a separate 4G router. When supplied with our Home2Phone service, you can keep your existing home telephone number while upgrading to a modern, reliable 4G home phone service.
Every handset is supplied ready to use. Your Home2Phone SIM card is pre-installed, fully configured and tested before dispatch. Simply connect the power, switch the phone on, and you are ready to make and receive calls using your existing home telephone number.
The Geemarc CL9000 also features a built-in rechargeable battery, allowing the phone to continue working during a mains power cut, subject to mobile network availability and battery charge.

Why is there an upfront kit cost?
The upfront cost covers the Home2Phone kit, service activation, equipment preparation, administration and DHL delivery. We charge this clearly at the start rather than hiding setup costs inside a long contract. This helps keep Home2Phone on a simple 30-day rolling contract.

Home2Phone is a mobile-based home phone service and landline replacement, often used as a home phone for elderly people and households affected by the copper switch-off, but it does have some important limitations.
Care alarms
Home2Phone is not suitable or recommended for monitored care alarms, monitored medical devices or life-critical equipment. If a care alarm is independent and does not need a telephone line, Home2Phone can still be used separately.
Mobile coverage
The service operates only over the EE mobile network. Call quality and reliability depend on mobile signal, local coverage, network congestion and environmental conditions.
Power cuts
The CL2100 router includes an internal battery, but mains-powered handsets, cordless bases and other equipment need their own backup power if they must work during a power cut.

Is Home2Phone a call divert service?
No. Home2Phone is not a simple call divert service. Your home number is moved onto the service so it can be used with a dedicated EE SIM.
Can I keep my existing home telephone number?
In many cases, yes. We can usually transfer your existing home telephone number to Home2Phone, subject to provider porting agreements and acceptance by the losing provider.
Do I need broadband?
No. Home2Phone calls work over the EE mobile voice network and do not need broadband, apps or internet-based VoIP calling.
Which router is supplied?
Home2Phone router packages use the Geemarc CL2100 4G home phone router.
How long does number porting take?
Number porting usually takes around 10 to 20 working days, depending on the losing provider and network processing times. A temporary mobile number can be used while waiting for the port.
Does Home2Phone work with care alarms?
We do not recommend Home2Phone for monitored care alarms, monitored medical equipment or life-critical systems. Use with such systems is at your own risk.
Does it support 999 and 112 calls?
Yes, Home2Phone supports emergency calls to 999 and 112. However, access depends on mobile network availability, coverage and power to the equipment being used.
How long is the contract?
Home2Phone is provided on a 30-day rolling contract, with 30 days' notice required to cancel.
Is voicemail available?
Yes. 1571 voicemail is available as an optional chargeable add-on.
Can I add mobile data?
Yes, optional mobile data packages are available for compatible router packages. Data is not available on the Pension Credit tariff.
What is the difference between Home2Phone and Home2Mobile?
Home2Phone is the router-based package using the Geemarc CL2100 router and a home telephone handset. Home2Mobile is a SIM-based alternative where we can supply a SIM and/or mobile option instead of a router.
Can I add FirstCall call screening?
Yes. FirstCall is an optional call screening add-on for Home2Phone. It costs £2.99 per month, with £0.00 activation.
Can I buy the router on its own?
