New! Gigabit Fibre To The Home Broadband (FTTH)

Available Now – Full Fibre Broadband for  Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole homes

NEW Cloud VoIP Phone and broadband deals for pensioners. Telephone only deals
Available Now - Over 23 thousand homes in the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole now have access to our Super Symmetrical Fibre broadband services. With speeds from 100Mbps to 900Mbps. Symmetrical broadband means that the data speed and file transfer rate is the same in both directions. That is, the connection provides the same download and upload speeds, at the same time.
For example, with a 500/500 Mbps fibre internet connection you get 500 Mbps of download AND 500 Mbps of upload speeds.

Using our Super Fibre telephone service - You will always keep your number

Most people have had their telephone number for years, and for a lot of us keeping your telephone number is a must. We can move 99% of telephone numbers into our network, and even other cloud based numbers from other providers. We will organize your telephone move for you, making the whole move simple as we can. So regardless of if you're moving home, to a different part of the country, or even a different part of the world, we have the technology so you will always be able to take your current phone number with you.

We can even move your current telephone number to your Smartphone with our new Phoneline+ smartphone App, allowing you to make and receive calls on your old telephone number 24/7 using your mobile. Also, calls made through the App to local, national, mobiles and some international numbers are completely free.
Using our Super Fibre telephone service - You will always keep your number

NO long term contracts - Just 30 days rolling, with 30 days notice

SoGEA - VoIP The alternative to a copper-based telephone lines
We believe we are one of the only companies offering a Super Symmetrical Fibre broadband service on just a 30-day rolling contract. Our Super Symmetrical Fibre broadband services is provided on a monthly rolling contract and can be cancelled with just 30* days' notice. There are NO termination or disconnection fees. Alnd along with a VoIP telephone service, we think you will find it hard to beat.

Transparent billing and easy payment

We charge in advance. This means you will have covered your 30-day notice period for cancellation, allowing us to terminate your line for you the same day you notify us should it become necessary. We operate all accounts with direct debits through GoCardless meaning that you don't have to worry about making payments and are kept informed before any money ever leaves your account.

How your first bill is calculated

The invoice will show a charge for the whole month in which the invoice is issued and for the whole of the following calendar month. (2 whole months.) This advance payment means you'll have covered your 30-day notice period for cancellation, allowing us to terminate your line for you the same day you notify us should it become necessary.
If you have signed up to our service part way through a month, your first bill will also include a charge from the date the new service went live to the end of the part month.
Please remember to tell the bill payer that the name of our Direct Debit will show on their bank statement as “GoCardless”.

Things to consider before making the move to a VoIP based service

As all landline phone users are going to have to make the move to a cloud-based telephone service, we expect the providers of other services will adapt to enable their use. However, we would strongly advise checking with your provider if you are reliant on devices or services which use the existing copper-based service. Care and home Alarms - Customers who are vulnerable or using pendant service need to contact their service provider, as not all personal/care alarm as are some home alarm services are compatible with VoIP telephone services.

Telephone Extensions
A cloud-based telephone service is a virtual one and has no physical connection to the old copper-based telephone sockets. So, any copper-based phone extensions will no longer work. To get round this problem we recommend using the BT 4600 cordless phone sets, as these phones can run up to three handsets from the one base station. As well as having one of the best call blockers on the market.

Fibre To The Home Broadband Service (FTTH)

What speeds can I get?
We offer a range of Home FTTH  broadband packages with different speeds. Going from just 40Mbps up to a whopping 900Mbps feed. Our Fibre bradband plans of 100, 200, 300, 500 and 900Mbps pakages are symmetrical broadband services. This means that the data speed and file transfer rate is the same in both directions. That is, the connection provides the same download and upload speeds, at the same time.
How can I check I can get the service at my home?
At the moment (10.11.2021) we cover over 23 thousand homes in the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole homes, with thousands more being added each month. To check if the service is available to your home just click the Request a Quote button below the call plan. We will then check all you address information in our systems to see if we have coverage to your home. The service is not available for businesses.
Why is there an installation fee, when other providers offer this for free?
Nothing in life is free, its included. Other providers will offer a free or discounted installation but will place you in an 18- or 24-month contract to make this back and charge you a higher monthly cost. You also need to check the broadband service itself, as many providers do NOT offer a symmetrical broadband service for the price they are advertising. So do the maths and check the speeds.
Is the Fibre broadband contract really just a 30-day rolling contract?
Yes, all our plans are on a 30-day rolling contract, with 30 days’ notice of termination. There are NO disconnection or termination fees to pay, and we can even switch the service off the same day if needed. You just need to remember by terminating the Fibre service this will also terminate the telephone services as well, which will result in a loss of your telephone number unless its prted out before hand to a new provider.
Can I keep my telephone number?
Yes, we can move 99% of telephone numbers - Most people have had their telephone number for years, keeping their telephone number is a must. Unlike most providers, we run our own telephone network and platforms (Similar to TalkTalk and Virgin), and have telecom switches based in Bournemouth, London, Amsterdam, and Strasbourg. So regardless of if you're moving home, to a different part of the country, or even a different part of the world, you will always be able to take your current phone number with you as long as you have some access to data.
Can I move my telephone number to a different provider?
Yes, however, there would be a small admin cost to do this. The provider you are moving to will be responsible for transfer process. Customers that have ported their telephone number out of the Simple Telecoms network to another provider will not be eligible for a free of charge port back to the Simple Telecoms network until the term of 36 months has passed from the original port out date, irrespective of any current or future offers being advertised in the press or Simple Telecoms websites. Should you wish to move your telephone number back to us within the 36-month period, there would be a cost to so. Should you retain the FTTH broadband service with us the monthly cost for the broadband plan service would remain the same.
In the event of a power cut how can I still use my broadband?
You would need to purchase a battery backup for both the router, the Fibre ONT and the handset. You can purchase a Battery Back Up from us which will keep the unit powered for about 2 hours. Otherwise, customers will need to provide their own Battery Back Up arrangements for these devices which we have found typically costs around 90 with VAT. If you would like help with this, please call us on 0330 122 0000 Monday to Friday 9AM to 5PM
