New Consumer Rights Directive (CRD) law comes into force

Consumer Rights Directive (CRD) law comes into force today

As from today the Consumer Rights Directive (CRD) law comes into force in the UK and for all EU member states, including Spain.

From today the use of certain phone numbers for business customer services are no longer permitted to use 087, 09, 084 or 0845 numbers. This means that existing end user customers calling any customer helplines, i.e. for support, billing queries etc. can only be charged a basic/ local rate for the call.

Should you operating such a service using  a 087, 084 or 09 numbers we would be happy to supply  an alternative number. We would recommend 01, 02, or 03 prefixed numbers as alternative numbers in this case.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any queries regarding this.
